After Highland
For many Highland students, what to do and where to go after graduation is a very purposeful decision. The range of careers that Highland graduates go into is as varied as those who go to traditional schools. The goal for THS graduates is to continue to take charge of their lives, what they do, and where they’re going. Each is a navigator confidently charting her own course.
Nearly all of Highland’s graduates have gone on to college even though we are not a college prep school—that is to say: we don’t constantly tell students that college is the only legitimate next step. Sometimes graduates want to gain experience by working or traveling before they go into higher education. All Highland graduates make these choices for themselves with the advice and support of our staff.
